Gregory Mounis: knee injury in the first minute

Catalan Dragons captain Gregory Mounis and wingers Cyril Stacul and Frederic Vaccari will all miss the start of the Super League season after picking up injuries in a 44-22 friendly win against London Broncos.

Mounis, who suffered a knee injury in the first minute, is set to undergo arthroscopic surgery on Tuesday and will be sidelined for at least three weeks.

Stacul is likely to miss the first first two months of the new season after breaking an ankle, while the luckless Vaccari suffered knee ligament damage and faces at least three weeks out.

The injuries took the gloss off an impressive Dragons display as they followed up their 46-10 triumph over Wakefield with another eye-catching effort.

Clint Greenshields scored a hat-trick of tries, Thomas Bosc grabbed two and Vaccari, Sebastien Raguin and Scott Durea also touched down.

Karl Temata had given the Londoners an early lead while Tony Clubb also scored before half-time and substitute Keiran Dixon crossed twice late on.
