Coach Chris Chester believes that his Hull KR team were the better side despite only coming out with a point at home to Wigan.
The Warriors snatched a 14-14 draw after England winger Josh Charnley crossed for a try with the last play of the game, to leave Chester and his players somewhat deflated.
"I thought we were the better team for 79 minutes,” he told Sky Sports.
I thought with the ball we were dumb.
“We just switched off for that final minute. I’m desperately disappointed. We should have won that game.”
Rovers had earlier held a 14-4 lead, but scores from Sean O’Loughlin and Charnley in the final eight minutes cast a cloud on what had otherwise been a superb effort from the ninth-placed club.
Chester conceded “It’s an eighty-minute game. You’ve got to play for 80 minutes. Simple as and we’ve proved that tonight.
“There is still hope (of making the play-offs). There’s six points still to get. We’re obviously very disappointed but there’s still a long way to go.”
Also speaking to Sky Sports, Warriors coach Shaun Wane was unhappy with his team’s performance, though he was quick to praise the home side.
"I thought they (Hull KR) played really well. I thought with the ball we were dumb.
"We had some really inconsistent penalties given against us in the first-half. We gave them six or seven sets so as I said to the players at half-time that wasn't our performance and at full-time I've just said the same thing.
"We can play better than that and I know we got a draw but it's two points lost to me. That performance is not a Wigan performance and it's not a performance I will accept."
