Bradford hooker Adam O'Brien has revealed he would like to remain with the club if they are relegated from Super League at the end of the season.

The Bulls are odds-on to fill one of the two relegation places as they trail third-from-bottom Salford Red Devils by nine points with just nine games left in the regular season.

O'Brien has a two-year contract with Bradford, however, that deal would be nullified should they drop out of the top flight in September.

"If it happens and we go down then I’ll be looking to stay if the club still want me."

The 20-year-old has a promising future ahead of him and while he is currently focusing on helping the Bulls avoid the drop he is also planning ahead for 2015.

"I’m still contracted for another two years in Super League but I don’t know what would happen if we went down," O’Brien told the Telegraph and Argus.

"I definitely want to stay with the club depending on what happens at the end of the year.

"I'm not looking that far ahead yet because we still have games to fight for.

"But if it happens and we go down then I’ll be looking to stay if the club still want me."
