Bradford Bulls to name new coach at Tuesday press conference

Bradford Bulls will name their new head coach on Tuesday morning.

The Super League club have announced a press conference at 9.30am where they will reveal Francis Cummins' successor.

Cummins was sacked last week to the tune of much criticism, with the former Leeds man having worked amid dire financial problems at the Bulls.

The club's owners decided that results were not good enough, though, and parted company with him as relegation to the Championship draws closer.

Defeats to Salford - before Cummins' axe - and to Hull KR mean they are on the brink of going down after failing to recover from a six-point deduction for going into administration.

Former hooker James Lowes - coach of union side Leeds Carnegie - is expected to be confirmed in the role, although ex-Bull Glenn Morrison and veteran John Kear were also in the runnning for the job.
