Bradford Bulls have signed Warrington back-row Danny Bridge on a month's loan.
Bridge only made two Super League appearances for the Wolves last season and trained with his new team-mates for the first time on Wednesday.
With injury doubts swirling over new signing Dale Ferguson, he could be in line for a quick debut when the Bulls open their 2014 season against Castleford Tigers on Sunday.
"I coached Danny when he was with England Under-16s," coach Francis Cummins said.
"He's big and strong and he's got some skill about him. He can put some big hits in."
Cummins is keen to add another face to his scrum options, with a prop the new priority after Garreth Carvell left the club for Hull FC.
"He's made his decision," Cummins said of Carvell's departure. "It's disappointing but, if a player doesn't want to be here, you have to move on.
"We've brought Danny Bridge in and that will probably be it for this week but we are looking at other options as we speak.
"We need another middle (forward) or two. We knew we had to any way when we had Gaz. We need to bolster the squad in that area."
