Bradford head coach Mick Potter is willing to continue to work without pay while he awaits a decision on his future.

Any decisions on the future make-up of the Bulls' administration, playing and coaching staff have been put on hold until new owner Omar Khan's takeover is officially ratified by the Rugby Football League.

That is unlikely to happen before Friday, when Potter and his team will be on their way to France to play Catalan Dragons in their final game of the regular season.

Talks

"I've spoken to the club just about the team and the bigger picture but I haven't spoken to them about what I'm doing personally," said Potter.

"I quite enjoy doing what I do and there are not too many opportunities to do this sort of job."
Mick Potter Quotes of the week

"I think that's going to happen this week. I think there's a meeting being arranged.

"It's possibly looking okay but I don't know what they want me to do so I'll just keep looking."

Opportunities

Despite putting out feelers for jobs in his native Australia, Potter insists he has had no contact from NRL sides New Zealand Warriors or Sydney Roosts, who recently sacked their coaches, and would prefer to remain at Odsal.

"I quite enjoy doing what I do and there are not too many opportunities to do this sort of job," he said.

"But it's been a long-running saga, for different reasons, and there are other things to look at.

"I'll just wait and see what happens this week."
