Australian scrum-half Jamie Soward is set to make his Super League debut for London Broncos on Saturday, despite the fact he is only due to arrive in the country hours before kick-off.

Soward is joining Tony Rea's side until the end of the season as cover for former captain Craig Gower after being released by St George Illawarra earlier this month.

The 28-year-old has been named in the initial 19-man squad and Rea has indicated he will make his debut off the bench.

Soward will remain at the Twickenham Stoop until the end of the Super League campaign before joining NRL side Penrith Panthers for 2014.
