Super League: Brian McDermott confident Leeds Rhinos will regain top form

Leeds Rhinos coach Brian McDermott insists there is no "crisis" at Headingley as they head into Super League's Magic Weekend with back-to-back defeats.

Monday's defeat has left the Rhinos six points adrift of Wigan at the head of the table with two games in hand making Sunday's clash a must-win for McDermott's men.
Clinical
"We will have to hold on to the ball. We all have a philosophy about how we'd like to play, but without a certain amount of possession you are going to struggle," the Rhinos coach said. "We have to be pretty sound and clinical defensively, but should we be good enough to beat Wigan that will steer us back in the right direction." Leeds are the only team in the Super League to boast a perfect Magic Weekend record having won all six of their fixtures so far and must rise to the occasion once again. "I do like the Magic Weekend, I think there's a bit in it," he continued. "I like how it's put together, I like how all the teams are there and we are the only sport that does it. "But at the same time, the coaches and players have got to make sure we concentrate on the fact it's two league points and we have to adopt the same philosophy we have week in and week out."
