Bradford have confirmed they have rejected an approach from Super League champions Leeds for centre Keith Lulia.

Rhinos coach Brian McDermott is keen to bolster his options in the backs following the departures of Brent Webb and Lee Smith.

Lulia joined Bradford from St George Illawarra Dragons for the start of the 2011 season on a two-year deal.

"We have absolutely no intention whatsoever of letting our best players leave and were happy to decline the Rhinos offer."

Bradford say the 25-year-old is happy at Odsal and the club have no intention of selling one of their prized assets.

"Leeds made an approach, through the correct channels, for Keith's services but we rejected their offer out of hand," Bradford's football manager Stuart Duffy.

"Keith is happy at the club and has been informed of the Rhinos interest. We have absolutely no intention whatsoever of letting our best players leave and were happy to decline the Rhinos offer."
