Super League: Gareth Ellis wants Hull FC to develop a winning mentality
Hull FC's Gareth Ellis has called for a 'reaction' from his team-mates in the wake of Sunday's 7-0 defeat to Widnes.

The loss means the Black and Whites have won just two of their opening six games while all four of those losses have been by 12 points or fewer.
Ellis insists there has been no consolation in the narrow defeats, stating they need to develop a winning mentality starting with Salford Red Devils on Friday, although suspension means he will play no part.
There are again high expectations at the KC Stadium this season and former Leeds Rhinos man Ellis says Friday's clash gives the team a quick-fire chance of returning to winning ways.
"We can't keep talking about how we're losing these tight games and taking positives from it. At the end of the day, we need to win and that's what the game is about," Ellis told the Hull Daily Mail.
"It's about getting the two points, regardless of the performance, and we need to start getting that winning mentality.
"We need to brush ourselves off and see some reaction, especially as Salford won at the weekend.
"There's certainly lessons to be learned, and the short turn-around gives us the opportunity to get out there and put things right.
"It also gives us a bit of that fire in the belly that we need.
"It was only a matter of time before Salford clicked, but it's more about us this week and how we react and perform on Friday night."
However, Ellis is sidelined against the Red Devils on Friday or their upcoming Challenge Cup clash after he was given a two-match ban.
The former England forward submitted an early-guilty plea to a grade C charge of making a dangerous shoulder charge during their loss to the Vikings.
