Hull centre Joe Arundel looks set to miss Saturday's Challenge Cup final against Wigan with a hand injury.

The former Castleford player sustained the problem in last week's 18-13 victory over Salford.

Arundel has not been officially ruled out by the Black and Whites but the 21-year-old suggested on Twitter he will miss the Wembley showpiece.

"To all people asking I fractured my hand Friday and will be getting an op today to fix it. Thanks for all the support! #Gutted," he tweeted.

Hull coach Peter Gentle is already waiting on news of winger Tom Lineham, while centre Kirk Yeaman, Shannon McDonnell and Ben Galea have definitely been ruled out.

Centre Ben Crooks remains an injury concern but he could yet make the matchday squad despite a leg injury.
