Tom Briscoe would like to have a shot at playing in the NRL, although he remains focused on Hull FC.
The England international winger has been tipped to join the growing number of Super League players moving Down Under when his contract expires at the end of the 2013 season.
Briscoe insists the potential move would not be about money, however, but the chance to enhance his standards and the lifestyle of living in Australia.
The talented 22-year-old, who could be free to speak to interested parties from May 1, has not held talks over a move and is concentrating on the Black and Whites.
"It is looking that way (more players leaving)," he told the Yorkshire Post.
"It's an attractive opportunity to go play out there and not just financially - that isn't one of the things I'd be looking at.
"It'd be more to improve and have a different experience of lifestyle as well.
"I would like to do it but I've got a year left at Hull and not had any talks or anything yet so I'll concentrate on this year and see where it leads me."
