Warrington prop Chris Hill believes there is a wealth of untapped potential playing part-time rugby league in the Championship.

Hill is bidding to lead the Wolves to a first Grand Final title 12 months on from playing in the second-tier with Leigh - and he insists there is more raw talent like himself.

"Without a doubt," he said. "There's a group of maybe 40 or 50 lads who can play in Super League.

"It's just getting the opportunity to get looked at. There is good talent down in the Championship and a lot of it does go unnoticed.

"Going into a full-time environment improves your game no end."

Hill's form has earned him a place in the England's 24-man squad for a training camp in South Africa - ahead of the Tests against France and Wales - but the front-rower insists his focus is purely on the Wolves.

"Playing for Warrington is the key for me at the minute," said Hill, whose side face Leeds in Saturday's Grand Final at Old Trafford, live on Sky Sports. "If anything falls off the back of that, it would be nice. I'd love to get selected for England.

"It's been a big learning curve for me this year and there are still a lot of things in my game I can improve on."
