Forward Taulima Tautai has played his last match for Wakefield Wildcats after being handed a one-match ban.
The 26-year-old former Parramatta and Cronulla player was found guilty of a dangerous tackle on Castleford prop Scott Wheeldon during Sunday's Super League defeat by the Tigers when he appeared in front a Rugby Football League tribunal.
Tautai, who is joining Wigan on a three-year contract from next season, will sit out the Wildcats' last match of the season against Hull KR on Sunday.
Chairman Michael Carter has joked he might be in the frame to play for James Webster’s team this weekend with so many of first-team regulars unavailable.
"By my reckoning 11 of the 33 players to play this season are unavailable this week. I might get a game!” he Tweeted.
