Wakefield have been dealt an blow with the news that Kyle Amor has broken a bone in his hand.

The former Leeds Rhinos prop is facing two months on the sidelines after suffering the injury in the Super League opening win against Widnes Vikings.

Wildcats coach Richard Agar told the Yorkshire Evening Post: "Kyle has broken a bone in his hand. He is going to have an operation to wire it.

"That is going to put him out for six to eight weeks, so it's a fairly big blow for us at this stage.

"Kyle has gone all right in our last couple of games. He gives us a bit of punch up front and was coming along really well.

"He is pretty down about it, but he will get it operated on and he'll start his recovery from then. We will get him back as quick as we can."
