Wigan star Sam Tomkins has ruled out a move to Salford after the City Reds' new owner Dr Marwan Koukash expressed an interest in signing him.
Koukash is thought to be willing to smash the world transfer record of £440,000 in order to land the 23-year-old England international.
But Tomkins, who is contracted at the DW Stadium until 2016, insists he is happy at Wigan, although he has welcomed Koukash's arrival at Salford.
"When it got mentioned, I was as surprised as anyone," said Tomkins.
"The new owner has come in at Salford and wants to make big changes and wants to bring players in. I think he's shown his intent.
"His ambition is great - and it's what the sport needs.
"But I'm happy where I am. I'm enjoying it and looking forward to a successful 2013 with Wigan - I'm not thinking about playing for anyone else."
