Salford have switched their final game of the Super League season to the Leigh Sports Village.
The City Reds' game against play-off hopefuls Wakefield has been moved to Saturday at 6.15pm and now clashes with new tenants' Sale Sharks' opening home fixture of the Aviva Premiership season at the City of Salford Stadium.
Salford needed to find an alternative ground and have opted for Leigh, which they currently use as a training base.
"I don't think anybody would be happy about having to play a home game on another ground but it's out of our hands," said City Reds football director Steve Simms.
"The RFL knew three weeks ago that Sale would have primacy for Saturday's game and we informed them again last week that we couldn't play at home on the Saturday."
