St Helens forwards Jon Wilkin and Kyle Amor will miss Friday's Super League table-topping showdown with Leeds through suspension.

Wilkin was given a two-match ban and a £300 fine after pleading guilty to a grade B offence of a reckless high tackle on winger Chris Riley during Saints' 24-16 win over Wakefield on Sunday.

It means the England back rower will also sit out St Helens' Tetley's Challenge Cup fourth-round tie against Huddersfield on Sunday week.

Amor submitted an early-guilty plea to a grade B reckless high tackle in the same match and was suspended for one game.

Hull KR's former Wakefield prop Justin Poore will miss out on a reunion with his old club on Sunday after being banned for the second time since his close-season move from the Wildcats.

Poore, who served a one-match ban last month for punching, was found guilty on Tuesday night of a grade C offence of making a dangerous throw during Rovers' 16-0 win over Bradford on Sunday and suspended for three games.

Hull will be without captain Gareth Ellis for their Challenge Cup-tie tie against Salford after he was given a two-match ban.

The former England forward submitted an early-guilty plea to a grade C charge of making a dangerous shoulder charge during his side's 7-0 home defeat by Widnes on Sunday.

It means Ellis will miss Friday's League match against Salford at the KC Stadium, as well as the cup clash between the two clubs six days later.

Widnes centre Willie Isa will miss the Vikings' home game against Bradford on Sunday after admitting recklessly striking Hull half-back Aaron Heremaia in the game at the KC Stadium.

Watch St Helens v Leeds on Sky Sports 1 from 7:30pm on Friday.
