Bradford head coach James Lowes has put the finishing touches to his backroom staff with the appointment of former Great Britain international Karl Harrison as his assistant.
Harrison, 50, who coached Salford in Super League for five years and was in charge of Championship club Halifax up to last month, will return for a second stint as number two at Odsal, having been right-hand man to Brian Noble 10 years ago.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for me," Harrison said. "Everybody within the game expects Bradford to be in the upper echelons of rugby league - and at the top end of the upper echelons of the sport.
"It is also a fantastic opportunity for me to work alongside Jimmy and try to get this great club back to where we think it belongs."
Lowes, who was assistant to Harrison for time at Salford, said: "I have known Karl for a number of years and am absolutely delighted to have him on board ahead of what is going to be a massive year for us.
"He is very experienced - at both Super League and Championship level - and is an all-round great guy.
"When he became available, we moved very quickly to bring him in. He is the ideal man to assist me next season and I look forward to working with him.
"Karl completes something of a new-look coaching team for the club. I felt the need to freshen things up and I believe I have done so."
Harrison, who guided Salford to their highest-ever Super League finish of fifth in 2006 and took Batley and Halifax to Northern Rail Cup triumphs in 2010 and 2012 respectively, joins retired Bulls captain Matt Diskin, former Featherstone coach John Bastian and strength and conditioner Gary Dempsey on Bradford's backroom staff for their 2015 Championship campaign.
