Betting Preview: Sky Bet's Jordan Fiddes expects a St Helens win

Ahead of the 2014 Super League season, St Helens were the outright favourites to win the League Leaders' Shield.

The South of France is a tough place to go and one week before the playoffs will see the locals turn out in force. Therefore it's wise to back the home side on the handicap in this one. Laurent Frayssinous and his side have lost just two home games all season by more than four points - this week's handicap - one of which was their first. It's 10/11 to back them at +4 and it seems like a safe bet, especially if St Helens have already clinched top spot the night before. Fiddes Fancies St Helens on the Alternative Handicap and Catalans +4 - 5/1 Senior Says Saints (Scr) Leeds (-8) & Catalans (-4) all to win You don't need any more motivation to win a game than St Helens do this week and they take on a Huddersfield side who are out of form somewhat. Leeds need a performance heading into the play-offs and everyone struggles going to Catalans - making up my treble - 7/1
