Experience in scoring

Sky Bet's rugby league expert Jordan Fiddes thinks the odds can be taken advantage of this weekend

Sky Bet's Jordan Fiddes has a couple of try scorers for this weekend's Challenge Cup action

Leeds have not beaten Warrington in a Tetley's Challenge Cup semi-final for over a century, yet they come into this one as the slight favourites. However, the Rhinos are appearing in a record-equalling 45th Challenge Cup semi-final and can boast a better league position than their opponents. Tony Smith's men bounced back from a minor form slump with a hard-fought victory over Catalans last week, whereas Leeds were humiliated by the already relegated Bradford Bulls. Brian McDermott did rest eight first team players for that game against their West Yorkshire rivals, including second-rower Carl Ablett. The versatile pack member is 11/4 to score anytime against the Wolves on Saturday and, considering he has scored eight tries already this term, this is good value. He averages nearly a try every other game, meaning he should be around 2/1 so at 11/4 with Sky Bet, you are getting more for your money.

Strong on the left

In Sunday's semi-final, Castleford find themselves huge 4/9 favourites against Widnes - largely due to their recent league form. The Tigers have lost just six games all season and have received plaudits from all corners for their attractive style of rugby. Not only that but they have defeated the Vikings in their last four meetings - their latest a 40-20 victory just three weeks ago. Daryl Powell has been hampered with two suspensions though, most notably winger Justin Carney. The 'Tank on the Flank' has scored 17 tries in 19 games this season so replacement James Clare will have some big boots to fill. In saying that, Clare himself has crossed five times in just nine games - largely due to the width in which the Tigers enjoy to play with. They like to work the ball right early on and spread to the left on the last tackle - hence Carney's prolific record. Therefore, Clare is still odds on at 10/11 to score anytime, but these are much bigger odds than if Carney was on the wing so it's another good bet. Fiddes Fancies... Fiddes Fancies: Ablett & Clare both to score: 6/1
