In all Super League meetings between Warrington and St.Helens, the Wolves have won just five and the Saints a massive 37.
Although, in regular Super League rounds, the balance of power has shifted in the Wolves' favour, it was two wins apiece last season, but it was Warrington who won the final meeting to reach Old Trafford.
The Saints have been given a massive
10-point start for the game at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday and I'll be backing that at
10/11.
In all seven games last week, the team with a plus handicap beat that figure at full-time.
Six of those seven sides went on to win their respective game so if you are feeling adventurous, St.Helens are
5/2 outright.
I think that may be a step too far, but it will be a tight game if the Saints can match the form they showed when beating Bradford 36-10.
Had it not been for their wayward kicking, St.Helens could have snatched a draw last week against Leeds, as they matched the Champions at three tries each.
A game of two halves
Also on Friday, Hull FC host Castleford Tigers at the KC Stadium as they look to bounce back from last weekend's humiliation against Widnes.
Coach Peter Gentle condemned his player's performance last week and has pledged to ring the changes for the visit of the Tigers.
Interestingly, Castleford - along with Wakefield - hold the best record against the handicap so far this season so I'll be steering clear of the full-time result in this one.
While Castleford are receiving a lot of plaudits, and rightly so, this season, they still have only won one game in 2013.
Hull are the only side with a 100 per cent record against the half-time handicap so far this season so I will be going for that this week.
They are even money to beat the
-6 half-time deficit against Castleford at the KC.
Finally, to boost the odds of our weekend's treble, I'm going for a
6/1 tryscorer bet, also on Friday night.
The Catalan Dragons cross the border to face Wigan in an attempt to break a run of four consecutive losses against the Cherry and Whites.
The Dragons have not won at the DW Stadium since April 2011 and will, once again, be without playmaker Scott Dureau for this fixture.
Wigan Warriors winger Josh Charnley has crossed the line in his last four appearances against the Dragons and that's my final inclusion for this week's treble.
The prolific winger averaged over a try a game last season, finishing on 31, and he is on course to do the same this year with five already to his name.
