Huddersfield centre Aaron Murphy and Catalans Dragons captain Remi Casty have been found not guilty of any wrongdoing in their Super League clash at the Magic Weekend.

Both players were eligible for early-guilty pleas after being charged by the Rugby Football League's match-review panel over incidents in Sunday's 22-22 draw at St James' Park, but opted to fight their cases at disciplinary hearings in Leeds on Tuesday evening.

Casty was cleared of a dangerous throw on Huddersfield prop Eorl Crabtree while Murphy was found not guilty of a shoulder charge on Catalans centre Willie Tonga.

Murphy is now set to maintain his ever-present record when the Giants host Wigan on Sunday but his team-mate Scott Grix will be missing after being handed a one-match ban for a shoulder charge on Catalans full-back Morgan Escare.

Salford centre Josh Griffin was given a one-match ban for punching Widnes forward Willie Isa during the Red Devils' defeat in Newcastle. The tribunal downgraded the charge from grade C to grade B and Griffin, who pleaded guilty, was also fined £300.

Leeds centre Joel Moon will sit out his team's game at Wakefield on Sunday after being found guilty of a dangerous tackle on Wigan winger Josh Charnley.
