Half-back Jarrod Sammut will make his debut for London Broncos at Leigh Centurions on Sunday.

The 28-year-old's selection comes after signing a dual-registration agreement between his parent club Wakefield and the Championship side.

Previously with Crusaders and Bradford, Maltese International Summat is set to become Wakefield’s fourth player to experience the second tier of rugby league, but he is yet to play for the Wildcats this season.

Matt Ryan and Mickael Simon are currently playing on dual-registration at Featherstone Rovers, and they could feature in Featherstone's fixture against Doncaster Rovers at the Keepmoat Stadium this Sunday.

Jon Molloy is also on loan to Sheffield Eagles and he is reportedly open to extending his stay at the club.

Broncos coach Joey Grima said: "I already have a relationship with Sammut, having coached him at Malta.

"I've watched Sammut play over the past six seasons in the NRL and Super League and I consider him to be a valuable player due to his versatility.

"The addition of Sammut brings opportunities where we've been hit hard by injuries."

Wakefield coach James Webster said: "This provides an excellent opportunity for Jarrod to play against one of the best teams in the Championship."

The Broncos' agreement with Wakefield is in addition to their dual-registration deal with London Skolars and Oxford RL.
