Utility forward Chev Walker has agreed a new one-year deal with Bradford Bulls meaning he will remain at Provident Stadium throughout the 2015 season.
The 31-year-old, formerly of Leeds Rhinos and Hull KR, has followed in the footsteps of Adam O'Brien, Dale Ferguson, Adam Sidlow, Tom Olbison, Adam Henry and Lee Gaskell in committing to the club.
Walker, who also played for Bath rugby union, has become the 13th addition to James Lowes' 2015 roster, with newcomers Dan Fleming, Jake Mullaney, Etu Uaisele, Dave Petersen and Mark Offerdahl already on board.
Lowes is pleased to be able to retain the experienced and versatile campaigner, who represented Great Britain and England early in his career, ahead of playing in the Kingstone Press Championship next season.
“Chev is a very strong individual, who offers our team a huge amount, and it is great to have him secured for next season,” said head coach Lowes told the club’s official website.
“Before picking up his hand injury, last month, Chev had certainly found some form and was looking really good.
“He is vastly experienced and has performed at the top of the sport, in a number of different scenarios.
“He will act as a real leader for us next year, guiding some of our younger recruits in what will be an exciting, yet challenging Championship campaign.”
