Bradford Bulls have continued building for life in the Championship by agreeing a new two-year contract with Scotland international Danny Addy.
The 23-year-old, who impressed during last year's World Cup, has joined fellow team-mates Dale Ferguson, Lee Gaskell, Adam Sidlow, Tom Olbison and Adam Henry in re-signing for the Provident Stadium outfit.
Utility talent Addy has spoken of his delight, having turned down interest from elsewhere to sign a fresh contract.
“Bradford is a great club, I am very happy here and saw no reason to leave,” said the Pontefract-born Bull, who made his first-team debut back in 2010.
It fills me with a huge amount of confidence and I am already looking forward to next season. I believe we have the ability to bounce straight back up, which will be our main focus.
“There was interest from a number of Super League sides but I am delighted to be staying with the Bulls.
“Some excellent signings have been made for next year and it is great to see plenty of the boys agreeing new deals with the club.
“It fills me with a huge amount of confidence and I am already looking forward to next season. I believe we have the ability to bounce straight back up, which will be our main focus.”
Addy, who will be a Bradford player until at least the end of 2016, is the twelfth addition to head coach James Lowes' squad for next season.
Dave Petersen, Etu Uaisele, Dan Fleming, Jake Mullaney and Mark Offerdahl have already been unveiled as new signings and coach Lowes is pleased with the way his roster is shaping up.
“Danny is another strong addition to our 2015 squad and we are really pleased to have him on board,” said the Bulls boss.
“He is a very versatile player, who is capable of offering the team a huge amount. He is a product of the club's academy system and has plenty of years ahead of him yet.”
