Paul Cullen and Jon Wells preview Friday night's Super League match between the Catalan and Warrington

Catalan Dragons and Warrington Wolves will both be looking to return to winning ways when they meet in Perpignan in Super League action on Friday night.

The Dragons suffered a 38-16 loss to Huddersfield Giants last Sunday while the Wolves have now lost back-to-back games having previously won nine straight in the league.

Warrington bagged a 41-10 success over the Dragons at the Halliwell Jones Stadium in May, although Laurent Frayssinous’ men are a different proposition on home soil having lost just twice (Leeds and Wigan) this season.

Catalan Dragons welcome back co-captain Greg Mounis from suspension and he comes in for Ben Garcia as the only change to their 19-man squad.

Vincent Duport completes a three-match ban, while Olivier Elima, who signed a new deal on Tuesday, remains sidelined.

Warrington coach Tony Smith has left out full-back Matty Russell for the trip to the south of France. The Scotland international suffered a concussion in Sunday's surprise home defeat by Wakefield.

Stefan Ratchford will revert to full-back against the Dragons while Michael Monaghan, Trent Waterhouse and Simon Grix all return to Smith's 19-man squad.

"We are pretty determined to go to Catalan and roll our sleeves up and fix some of the things that have let us down over the last couple of weeks,” Smith told the club’s official website.

“They play some attractive Rugby League, ask some questions and play some high risk Rugby League too and when those things come off for them it makes it really tough.

"We are going to make sure we are on our very best if we are going to compete with them.”

Catalan Dragons: Escare, Pryce, Pomeroy, Oldfield, Bosc, Henderson, Lima, Taia, Anderson, Mounis, Maria, Pelissier, Whitehead, Millard, Simon, Bousquet, Paea, Baile, Williams.
