London Broncos have completed the signing of Josh Drinkwater from St George Illawarra Dragons.
The 21-year-old halfback made his National Rugby League debut for the Dragons last season in Round Five against the Newcastle Knights.
Drinkwater moved across Sydney from Manly last season with mixed success but he will join former St George Illawarra team-mate Atelea Vea, another recent recruit at London.
He said: "I'm really looking forward to getting over there and playing Super League in a different environment.
"It's something I wanted to do since I was a child and when this opportunity popped up I had to take it. I can't wait to be a part of the Broncos. It's obviously a massive change and challenge for me and I am confident I can make an impact for the Broncos."
Broncos head coach Tony Rea said: "He's a very highly regarded organiser and a very astute player. Effectively when you recruit your number seven you're giving him the keys to the car and it's his job to steer it."
Drinkwater has never been to the United Kingdom before and admits it will take some time for him to find his feet in the capital.
He added: "I'm lucky in that my cousin moved to London a month ago so I've been in regular contact with him and also my girlfriend will be joining me. It will make it much easier having her there to support me."
