London Broncos have secured the services of St George Illawarra half-back Josh Drinkwater.

The 21-year-old has been released by his Australian club to enable him to make the move to Super League.

Dragons coach Steve Price said: "Josh has received a good offer and opportunity to play in the Super League and we respect and understand his desires to take up this opportunity.

"We thank him for his services and contributions to our club and wish him well for his future."

London coach Tony Rea has been forced to virtually re-build his squad following administrative problems in 2013 as they begin life at their new home in Barnet.
