Kirk Yeaman: Wants to go back to enjoying his rugby league
Hull FC's veteran centre Kirk Yeaman wants to have a positive season at the KC Stadium after struggling to enjoy the previous two.
The 30-year-old was far from his best last season, mustering just six tries while his form also saw him dropped by Peter Gentle, who has since been sacked.
Yeaman admits he has not been enjoying his rugby league as he should, something he is determined to rectify in 2014 under new boss Lee Radford.
"I want to go out there and enjoy my rugby. That's when I play my best, when I am enjoying my rugby."
"I've been at this club for 14 years now and the last couple of seasons I've not enjoyed them, for whatever reason," Yeaman told the Hull Daily Mail.
"I am really determined this year to enjoy my rugby. Training is tough, but I'm training with a smile on my face. It's like a fresh start for everybody and that's how I've approached it.
"I want to go out there and enjoy my rugby. That's when I play my best, when I am enjoying my rugby.
"I feel like I am born again. With all the new changes, training with all the new lads, I am really determined to have a big year this year."
