Paul McShane: Brings end to long association with Leeds Rhinos
The Leeds Rhinos have agreed to release hooker Paul McShane from the rest of his contract.
McShane has been with the Rhinos since 2006, rising through the club's Academy system to the first-team.
The 23-year-old established himself in their Super League team this season, after four years struggling to break through, but he was left out of their last five games after initially picking up a one-match suspension.
His biggest day came back in 2012 when he was part of the Rhinos team that won the World Club Challenge, but he failed to make their squad for the Challenge Cup final and Grand Final.
McShane leaves the Rhinos after 63 appearances in five years, 24 of which came last season, and he also had loan spells with Hull FC and Widnes.
