Ryan McGoldrick becomes the seventh player to leave Salford so far
Ryan McGoldrick has left Salford City Reds by mutual consent halfway through his two-year contract.
McGolrick signed for Salford, who finished as the bottom side in the Super League in 2013, from Hull at the beginning of the season.
The news of the former Castleford player's departure from the Lancashire club was broken by Salford owner Marwan Koukash on Twitter.
"We have reached an agreement with Ryan McGoldrick to release him from his contract with immediate effect," Koukash tweeted. "Wishing him well for the future."
Koukash has been ringing the changes following a disappointing Super League campaign for Salford.
McGoldrick is the seventh player to leave the club and Koukash, who has added 13 players to his playing staff for next season, insisted he is still looking to add to his squad.
He added: "We are still chasing a number of players. We are not in a rush to sign them and will wait until their clubs accept our terms."
