Liam Carberry and Tom Spencer have both left Wigan and joined Widnes and Leigh respectively.
Carberry, 20, a hooker or loose forward still waiting for his Super League debut, has signed a one-year deal with the Vikings.
Vikings coach Denis Betts said: "Liam is a quality player who we first tried to bring to the club a couple of years ago.
"He was a highly sought-after junior player with a great pedigree and I genuinely believe that somebody else's loss is our gain."
Spencer, 22, had been playing for Leigh for the past two years on a dual registration.
He made seven appearances off the bench for the Warriors, three of them this season, but he had played in 44 matches for Leigh in the past two years.
Leigh coach Paul Rowley said: "I am delighted that I get the pleasure of working with Tom on a permanent basis in 2014. He is a hugely popular figure and it is exciting to witness such a fearless player like Tom represent this club with pride and passion.
"He has turned down several Super League opportunities to commit his future to the Centurions and I am immensely proud to have him as part of my team."
