Leeds half-back Danny McGuire has been handed a one-match ban by the Rugby Football League's disciplinary panel for committing a dangerous tackle.
The 30-year-old was charged with a grade B offence after in incident with Wigan stand-off Blake Green during last Friday's Super League play-off clash at the DW Stadium.
The Rhinos ended up losing the match to the Warriors by a 22-12 scoreline, bringing to an end their reign as league champions.
McGuire admitted the offence at an RFL hearing and as well as the suspension, was also fined £300.
However the England international won't have to miss the opening game of the 2014 Super League season, as the ban can be used up with Leeds' Boxing Day friendly.
