Craven Park: Home for youngsters Josh Guzdek and Connor Robinson for the next two years
Hull KR have handed professional contracts to teenage duo Josh Guzdek and Connor Robinson.
The pair have both signed two-year deals, and will be part of coach Craig Sandercock's squad in 2014, having come through the academy ranks at Craven Park.
Full-back Guzdek has already had a taste of first-team action, making a try-scoring debut in their final regular season fixture against London Broncos.
Robinson, meanwhile, has been at Rovers since the age of 12 and can play at hooker or either half-back position.
"Both Josh and Connor are players from our academy system who we think can kick on and have successful careers here at Hull Kingston Rovers," Sandercock told the club's official website.
"I was happy with Josh on his debut against London and his skill set is definitely there. He knows he still has a lot to work on and the pre-season will be important for him, especially in terms of physical development. He's only 18 and is still filling out so to speak but we'll be working hard with him.
"Connor is another local boy who has come through our academy system and like Josh, he has a good skill set. Pre-season will also be very important for Connor and he fully deserves the opportunity to develop further in our first team squad."
Guzdek and Robinson will be part of a squad that will also include four new faces - Jamie Langley has joined after being released by Bradford, along with overseas trio Michael Weyman, Neville Costigan and Kris Keating.
