Castleford Tigers have signed centre Michael Channing from London Broncos on a two-year contract.
The 21-year-old joined the Tigers on-loan in July and he has now been rewarded with a permanent deal, having scored three tries in four appearances, including a brace in the last home game of the season.
Head coach Daryl Powell said: "Michael has fitted into the club seamlessly as both a player and a person.
"He is a young centre with a lot of potential, who will continue to thrive in our culture.
"His footwork is outstanding, as is his ability to get the ball to his winger. Alongside that, his defence has improved massively during his time at our club and I am delighted that he is staying with us."
Channing added: "I'm really happy to get a permanent deal sorted at Castleford.
"I've loved my time at Cas so far. I've enjoyed the coaching and I've learned so much, and I think that it's shown in my performances.
"Daryl has been saying that I've improved week after week and, if you're young, you always want to learn.
"Being around good coaches and good players is something good to be a part of. It's going to be big challenge for places next season, but I have always said that it brings out the best in you when you have big competition."
