Salford City Reds' utility kicking back Marc Sneyd has reiterated his desire to remain with the club after being linked with a move to Castleford.
Reports have claimed that Sneyd could head across the Pennines as part of a potential deal that could take England international Rangi Chase to the Salford City Stadium.
However, Sneyd - who is a product of the Reds' own academy - says he wants to remain with the club, after recently agreeing a new contract.
In a statement released to Sky Sports, he said: "I have recently signed a new two-year deal, and I am very happy with my form.
"I am excited and looking forward to next season with the signings the club have already made, the future of this club is bright and I am determined to be a part of it."
Reds owner Marwan Koukash has not hidden his desire to land the 2011 Man of Steel, although St Helens are also being strongly tipped to make an offer for his services.
