Tony Rea: Sees no reason why the London Broncos cannot upset the Wigan Warriors on Saturday
Tony Rea believes the London Broncos will be ready to give their best in Saturday's Tetley's Challenge Cup semi-final against the Wigan Warriors at Leigh's Sports Village Stadium.
The Broncos are playing arguably the biggest game since the 1999 final against the Leeds Rhinos at Wembley with the capital club just one game away from a return to the hallowed turf.
The Broncos are the firm underdogs to upset last season's League Leaders' Shield winners as they enter the weekend clash having failed to win any of their last nine Super League outings.
Despite the negativity surrounding the Londoners, Rea insists spirits are high in his camp and that he remains confident they can learn from their mistakes against the Widnes Vikings last Friday.
"It's been a positive morning," Rea told Sky Sports. "We've been very practical.
"We're had to look at our game, a review our one from the weekend and we've been thinking about the things we want to do inside our game.
"We'll build through the week a bit later. Form is form I suppose, you can't neglect it.
"There is a chance we were side-tracked as history shows in sport that is the case.
"There are some things we need to improve out of that, but our challenge is not to do that this week."
