London Broncos have confirmed the signing of Jacob Fairbank on loan from Huddersfield Giants.

The prop, 23, has moved to the Stoop for a month and is set to make his debut this weekend against Wakefield Wildcats.

Fairbank has spent time on loan with Bradford Bulls this season but was released back to the Giants after their injury problems eased.

He was loaned out again to Batley Bulldogs but was quickly moved on to the Broncos after coach Tony Rea expressed his interest.

Rea said: "He's a player we'd spoken about before he went to Bradford Bulls on loan from parent club Huddersfield Giants.

"With a couple of other injuries around the middle we look forward to his work rate."

The Broncos were hoping to give a debut to scrum-half Jamie Soward from St George Illawarra Dragons but the Australian is still awaiting his visa.
