Wakefield's Australian centre Dean Collis has signed a new contract that keeps him at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium until the end of 2016.
Coach Richard Agar made the 27-year-old his first signing when he joined them from Cronulla ahead of the 2012 season and has been an ever-present so far this season.
"I'm really happy to get it out of the way," Collis said. "I always wanted to stay at the club.
"I'm settled here. It's a great group we've got here at the moment and I think over the next few years we can really build something exciting."
Agar is trying to tie down a number of senior players to longer contracts and Collis joins forwards Andy Raleigh and Chris Annakin in signing new deals.
