Leeds Rhinos' injury problems have worsened with the news Ryan Bailey will miss six weeks.

The prop has a broken thumb and joins an injury list already featuring Brett Delaney, Carl Ablett, Stevie Ward, Joe Vickery, Danny McGuire and Kallum Watkins.

Kylie Leuluai could also miss Monday's Super League game against Widnes after his call-up to the Exiles squad for Friday's game against England.

But Rhinos coach Brian McDermott has put a positive spin on his side's problems.

He said: "This is disappointing news for Ryan as he was beginning to produce his best form again after an injury lay-off earlier in the season.

"Our resources are being tested at present but this will give an opportunity to someone else and I expect them to grab it with both hands."
