Scott Dureau: originally returned to action in the Magic Weekend
Catalan Dragons have announced that scrum-half Scott Dureau is set to have one final medical examination on Thursday after tests at the Toulouse Rangueil Hospital, reassuringly, found nothing wrong with the 26-year-old.
If all is well after Thursday's exams then the Australian is set to be cleared to return to playing for the Super League outfit.
Dureau only returned to competitive action recently after requiring surgery to remove a brain tumour in January. However, he was taken ill during the Dragons' recent draw with Widnes after complaining of blurred vision.
He was subsequently taken to hospital in Manchester before flying back to the south of France with his teammates where he has since undergone further tests.
If he is cleared to play, Dureau will be eager to help his side secure a play-off place. The Dragons are currently fourth in the Super League.
