Newcastle Knights winger Darius Boyd has been named in the Queensland team for next Wednesday's State of Origin opener against New South Wales in Sydney.
Boyd suffered an ankle injury playing for the Knights on Sunday but there was no definite news on his availability as the team was announced in Brisbane.
Scrum-half Cooper Cronk and prop forward David Shillington were both cleared to play for Queensland, who have won the last seven Origin interstate series, after escaping sanction from the National Rugby League's match review committee.
Cronk was placed on the referee's report for a lifting tackle while playing for Melbourne Storm on Saturday, while Shillington was penalised for a high tackle in Canberra's defeat to Manly on the same night.
NSW suffered an injury blow on Monday when interchange player Kurt Gidley was ruled out with a foot injury and a replacement was to be named.
The first match in the three-match Origin series kicks off at Sydney's Olympic Stadium on June 5.
