Seven players have been charged by the Rugby Football League following incidents during the weekend's Challenge Cup action.

Gareth Hock of Widnes, Danny McGuire of Leeds and Hull KR's Corey Paterson must all appear before a disciplinary panel on Tuesday.

Hock is accused of making contact with the referee during Widnes' game against Workington, while Paterson is charged with a reckless striking offence against Wigan.

Both offences are in the Grade D category, while McGuire's charge of punching against Huddersfield is listed as Grade A.

Huddersfield duo Leroy Cudjoe and Joe Wardle have also been charged along with London Broncos's Antonio Kaufusi and Jordan James of Salford, and those four have the option of entering Early Guilty Pleas by 11am on Tuesday.

Cudjoe's charge is for a Grade A punching offence and Wardle's for a Grade C offence of sustained punching.

Kaufusi is accused of a Grade C reckless strike on James Donaldson of Bradford, while James has been charged with Grade B dangerous contact on Brett Hodgson of Warrington.
