Seymour was admitted to Hull Royal Infirmary after the accident involving his BMW, which occured in Hessle on Sunday night, and was visited by his family, close friends and club officials on Monday morning.

"Medical examinations have revealed he suffered no serious injuries and he is expected to be discharged on Monday afternoon," said the club in a statement on their official website.

They added that he will be placed on leave with immediate effect.

Seymour, 28, who joined the club from New Zealand Warriors at the start of last season, played in Hull's 36-16 defeat at Widnes on Saturday.
