Hull KR coach Craig Sandercock has confirmed he is keen to keep Dale Ferguson at the club after his one-month loan spell comes to an end.
Back rower Ferguson made the move to New Craven Park from Huddersfield two weeks ago and has impressed in his two matches for the club, scoring a try in the 44-18 victory over Widnes last weekend.
That has given Sandercock cause for thought and he admits he would love to have Ferguson at his disposal on a long-term basis.
"If I had an opportunity to keep him longer, I would want to," Sandercock told the Hull Daily Mail.
"Dale is on loan for a month, but after that we will sit down and go from there. At this stage he is doing everything we have asked of him.
"He has fitted in really well. All in all I'm very happy with him, but what I want is not always what I get."
