Rangi Chase: Serving a suspension
Castleford have signed Gareth O'Brien on loan from Warrington.
The half-back will spend a month with the Tigers to help cover the loss of Rangi Chase, who is serving a ban for his reckless tackle on Leeds' Zak Hardaker.
O'Brien, who spent time on loan at Widnes last season and played for Swinton on dual registration at the weekend, is likely to make his debut against Bradford on Saturday.
Castleford coach Ian Millward said: "I have been an admirer of Gareth's for some time and Tony Smith speaks highly of him as both a person and a player.
"Warrington currently has no injuries in their half-backs so they were happy to loan him out and give him some good playing experience."
O'Brien is yet to appear for the Wolves' senior team this season.
