Tom Lineham: Two first-half tries in Hull FC's win at York
A youthful Hull FC side warmed up for Friday's Super League opener against Leeds with a 60-14 friendly victory over York at Huntington Stadium.
The Black and Whites dominated the first half against the Championship side and led 36-0 at half-time after touching down six times.
Full-back Jamie Shaul opened the scoring with Danny Nicklas and Ben Crooks then following up before Tom Lineham helped himself to a brace of tries.
Debutant Jansin Turgat, 16, also went over before the break with Crooks maintaining his perfect record with the boot as he added a sixth conversion.
The one-way traffic continued after the restart with further tries from Shaul and Jack Briscoe although Crooks missed both conversion attempts.
York then enjoyed a decent spell with three quickfire tries from Jonny Presley, James Haynes and Matt Nicholson to reduce the deficit to 44-14.
But Hull regained command with three more tries in a strong finish, Tom Stark and triallist winger Jack Latus scoring either side of the try of the match from Nicklas.
