Huddersfield Giants coach Paul Anderson has revealed that Luke Robinson will be the first-choice scrum-half next season.
Anderson has abandoned his search for a new half-back and Robinson will switch from hooker to No 7, forging a partnership with new captain Danny Brough.
The 27-year-old first joined the Giants from Salford as a scum-half and will revert to his old role with Shaun Lunt coming in as hooker.
"Our halves will be Luke Robinson and Danny Brough, and that's a good combination in anyone's book," Anderson told the Huddersfield Daily Examiner.
"Robbo is obviously no stranger to the half-back role and has earned international recognition there in the past, so we have no hesitation at all putting him back there.
"On top of this, we've still got Scott Grix capable of playing in the halves as well, while in Lunty and Fuey (David Faiumu) we've still got two outstanding hookers.
"Even though we've not managed to recruit in the halves, we've still got internationals at six, seven and nine, so it could be a lot worse for us, couldn't it?"
