Rangi Chase is caught up in a row between agents as he seeks a move
Rangi Chase's proposed switch from Castleford to his former club St George Illawarra is stalling over a contract dispute.
The Tigers half-back - Man of Steel in 2011 - saw a switch to Hull collapse due to visa issues and a switch to Australia is also in the balance due to a row between agents.
Australian agent Chris Orr, the long-time manager of the England international, claims he is owed money by Chase and will represent him until next summer - a claim contested by France-based agent Greg Keenan.
Manager of the accredited player agent scheme Paul Massey has revealed an enquiry into the situation is underway.
He told the Sydney Morning Herald: "The current management arrangements are under review. Until such time as that's resolved, no contract can be signed."
Chase is due to return from England's high-altitute training camp in South Africa this weekend.
